Casa la Siesta (Vejer de la Frontera)
Jack and Jon love Spain and especially the mellow, relaxed feel of the southern provinces. So they decided to make their dream come true by celebrating a small, private wedding at an off-the-beaten-path locale in windswept Vejer de la Frontera. Above all, the couple wanted their wedding shoot to be natural and uncontrived. So we worked together documenting their special day and telling their love story, which began eight years ago in London when Jack, from Sheffield, met Jon at university and they fell in love at first sight. It was so easy and fun working with Jack and Jon because they’re such lovely, genuine guys. Surrounded by olive groves and herb gardens, in a stylish Andalusian setting with thoughtfully planned details, we captured a beautiful mix of heartfelt moments. Smiling faces, warm hugs, tears of joy – and an almost tangible feeling of love as this couple started their exciting new life journey together.
"Salvador attended our wedding at Casa La Siesta near Vejer and we are so glad we chose him. As a small wedding (only twenty guests) we knew that it would be important for the photographer to be discreet, which Salvador managed really well. He got on with all of our guests and caught some wonderful shots. He was creative and used different backdrops and lightings, as well as really adapting to the style we requested. He was great fun to be around and we would highly recommend him"
